Are you ever going to make it so you can go back to custom battle editor during the battle? Because it's fustrating at times when for example your trying to make a battle so you start the battle to see how it is so far but you have to wait for the battle to end to go back to the custom battle editor or even go back to the main menu, having to build everything back from scratch
I am not a computer savvy guy but just a grandpa trying to help my 6 year old grandson. He wants to be able to play your game so I downloaded it and then downloaded winrar for 64 bit whatevers. I have an HP model 15-1211wm with windows 10. i dont know how to extract and am totally lost. Can you help me, please. Sincerely, grandpa Pete
It's really easy on windows. You don't need winrar, you can extract it with windows as well. Right click on the downloaded file -> Hover the "open with" entry -> Click on "windows explorer".
A new window should come up with a directiory inside. Drag and drop this directory on the desktop(or another location of your choise).
Close the explorer window.
Open the directiory, which you dragged on the desktop.
Double click the "AncientWarfare2.exe" file to start the game.

Hey all. Im a new youtuber and i decided to play Ancient Warfare 2 for my second video ever! I have a load of issues getting my recording software to finally work correctly so despite that im pretty happy with this video.
The game itself is very fun. Its very simplistic how ever its physics aspects are very addicting to watch over and over again. If this game had multiplayer it would complete it in so many ways.
I tried to do an epic custom battle! Sadly it failed. Then i tested how strong are the ranged units! And there isn't a single best ranged unit! They change by the amount of units and their formation!
I made a map for my friend to try. But of course, being a smarta#$ I showed how you could just position a few soldiers next to the king for the win. It might be a good idea to have a no blue placing radius around the king to keep that from happening. Of course, it's also really funny without.

Santa in this new update has to be stronger. Why is he so week and only have a stick? HE IS SANTA! Atleast give him a new weapon thats really strong.

I thought about a tool to allow players to change the height of the terrain. Maybe I will add some more features for map modifications.

There will be a modern version with content from WWI to future. I haven't thought about maps, but I will do it.

Ok, please make sure, that you extracted the game.
Check the task manager, that there is no process of the game active.
Restart your computer.
If this won't work, I would like to know your system specs(OS, CPU, RAM), maybe you haven't enough free ram.

There is nothing planned like this, because I want the game to be a bit challenging and not too easy.
why the flat option on custom battle is gone already?
It won't fit to my future plans. Many systems will work faster with flat terrain, which allows larger battles soon.

At the moment, pay what you want provides enough money for development.
